I'm really puzzled by the choice not to have any formal services for Ivory Hamby. I understand respecting someone's wishes, but given how well-loved he was in the community, I can't help but think of all the people who might've wanted to pay their respects. He sounds like he was such a kind and giving person who made a big impact on those around him. It's important to honor someone's life in a way that brings closure to family and friends, especially when they leave such a significant void. My heart truly goes out to Beatrice and the rest of his family during this time. I hope they find peace and support in one another as they navigate this difficult period. If anyone attends a memorial or has more insights, it would be meaningful to hear about how his community is coming together in the absence of formal services.
