Wow, just trying to wrap my head around the loss of Leon Parker, and I can't stop thinking about how his friends and family must be feeling right now. I was reading a bit about Leon, and it's clear that he was a cornerstone of his community. It really makes me wonder about the impact he had on young people in Soulsville, especially since he was described as such a positive influence. It’s so hard to see leaders like him taken away so suddenly. How can the neighborhood even start to fill that void? Given the other four people who were also shot, it’s worrying to think about the long-term trauma left in this community. Hoping for justice and peace for everyone affected. Anyone else have thoughts on how communities can come together and heal after such senseless violence? It just seems like something needs to change to prevent this from happening again.
