I've been following Daniel Cruz's case since it first came out, and something that's been bugging me is the area where his body was found. The desert location seems pretty secluded—did he have any known connections around there? Was it a place he might have visited before, or was it just chosen by the killer to avoid being seen?
I wonder how thorough the search in that area was, and if there could have been more physical evidence or personal items left behind. It's just devastating to think about his family waiting for answers while facing so many unknowns.
