It's been over three decades since the mysterious disappearances of Korrina and Annette, and this case still leaves me with so many questions. One thing that piques my curiosity is the note supposedly written by Annette at the bus stop. It's always struck me as so strange and chilling. What kind of mindset was she in at that moment? If Annette did write that note, did she genuinely believe her mother was coming back for her, or was she coerced into leaving it behind? Considering she was only 11, the language and foresight needed to fabricate such an idea on her own seem questionable. This note could have been a huge clue, but without knowing who else might have been involved, it's hard to put the pieces together. We may never know the truth, but I do hope new technology or fresh eyes on the case might eventually lead to some answers.
Has anyone else found it strange that Korrina's car was parked and locked so neatly at the plantation's entrance? Given the circumstances, it seems suspiciously tidy. If she left on her own, wouldn’t she have needed the vehicle? And if someone else was involved, why leave it so close to where she disappeared, essentially pointing a giant arrow to the crime scene? It feels like someone might’ve wanted to make her disappearance look voluntary, but without taking it too far, like actually driving her car away to an entirely different location where it’d be harder to connect to her. It opens up so many questions about what was going through the mind of whoever was responsible, especially if it ties into what happened to Annette. What do you guys think?
Has anyone noticed the timing of Annette's disappearance in relation to the school bus schedule? It’s always struck me as odd that she vanished right when she should've been catching the bus. I wonder if this indicates some planning or knowledge of the routine by the perpetrator. The note supposedly left by Annette is another piece that doesn't sit right with me. It makes me question whether she was coerced into writing it. It’s cases like this that make me think about how many layers there could be to the story we’re not seeing. Does anyone have more info on whether her classmates or the bus driver saw anything unusual that morning?
