I’ve been thinking about Kemo Vaughn and Tahira Wynn's case a lot lately. What stands out to me is the sheer audacity of the shooters acting on a crowded street in West Philly. I used to live a couple neighborhoods over, and I remember feeling safe, even late at night. It’s terrifying to think that something like this could happen so close to home and that the shooters could just vanish without a trace.
It's awful what their families must be going through right now. Not only did they lose their loved ones so suddenly, but they also have no answers or justice yet. The footage capturing the shooters is a glimmer of hope—I just hope it helps break the case soon.
If anyone knows anything—no matter how small—I urge you to come forward. We need to help end the violence that’s ripping communities apart. My thoughts are with Kemo and Tahira's families during this difficult time.
