It's incredibly difficult to wrap my head around this whole situation. My thoughts are constantly with Des’mon Thompson’s family and friends. One aspect of this case that really stood out to me is the use of pepper spray before things turned deadly. We've seen in previous cases how non-lethal interventions end up escalating situations instead of defusing them. I'm genuinely curious about what might have been said to make things get out of hand so quickly. It's a reminder of how fast things can escalate and how important it is to find ways to de-escalate conflict. Sending all my support to those hurting from this tragic event.
