I've been following the tragic case of Kaden Stephen Coleman, and one thing that's been tugging at my heart is the bravery of his best friend, Lorenzo Roberson. I can't imagine how hard it must have been for a 10-year-old to stand in front of the community and express his fear and grief at the town hall meeting. Lorenzo's courage to speak out is a powerful reminder of the impact this senseless violence has on our children. It’s so important for the community to rally around these young kids, not just with words but with meaningful actions to ensure their safety. It’s a shame that our young ones have to grow up with this kind of fear, and I sincerely hope the efforts of the community leaders lead to real change. My thoughts are with Kaden’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.
