Hey everyone, I was thinking about Alwin Todd Burton's case today, and something really stood out to me. Why hasn't there been more focus on the route he might have taken on his bicycle that day? I mean, June 1, 1989, he leaves his home on his bike and just vanishes. Detroit's a big place, with lots of neighborhoods and possible paths. Has anyone ever mapped out his possible routes or talked to folks who lived along those paths back in '89? There could have been construction workers, late-night store owners, or local residents who saw something and maybe didn’t realize it was important. I feel like fresh eyes could help trace possible paths again, even though it's been so long. Any thoughts on whether revisiting this angle could yield some new information?
Hey everyone, I've been digging into the Alwin Todd Burton case and found something interesting about his life before his disappearance. It seems like he was a big fan of baseball—both playing and watching games. Given that he got that strawberry burn on his butt from a baseball accident, I can't help but wonder if his love for the sport could offer any clues. Did he have plans to meet someone at a game, or did he talk about baseball with anyone new around the time he went missing? Perhaps there's someone out there from his baseball circle who might remember something unusual from back then. I know it's a long shot, but any piece of information could help. Does anyone else have thoughts on this angle?
I find it puzzling that there's so little info out there about Alwin "Hippie" Todd Burton's case despite it being over three decades old. You'd think there would be more to go on aside from the basics we've heard. It's like he just vanished into thin air after he left on his bike. I'm curious if there's more to that strawberry burn story — could it have been something he was self-conscious about, maybe leading to some interaction or dispute? Sometimes it's the small details that crack cases open. Anyone else have theories or forgotten tidbits that might shed some light on this?
