I came across the case of Ruth Alice Jacobus, and something that really stands out to me is the challenging terrain around her home. From what I’ve read, the area’s steep canyons are particularly treacherous – I can’t help but wonder how such rugged surroundings might have impacted those early search efforts. Considering these difficulties, it’s possible there are areas too hazardous for people or even search animals to reach safely. Has anyone else looked into this aspect of the case or the geography of the region? It seems like it could offer some clues or at least explain why she hasn’t been found despite such a thorough search. Would love to hear thoughts on this or if anyone’s familiar with the terrain there!

I was reading through Ruth Alice Jacobus's case and couldn’t help but think about the challenges of searching that kind of terrain. Has anyone looked into the possibility of hidden mines or abandoned wells in the area? Even though it’s been years, these types of hidden dangers could be why she’s never been found. Also, I wonder if the dog teams might have missed some concealed spaces that are not obvious when navigating such rugged areas. It’s heartbreaking for the family to have so many unanswered questions after all this time.
