I just came across the tragic story of Jamol Demetrius Seabrook, known lovingly as Jasmyne Blair Scott, and my heart truly goes out to her family and friends. Reading about what happened that night on Kraft Avenue, I can only imagine how terrifying it must have been for her in those final moments. What really struck me was how she didn't give up after being shot, somehow finding the strength to seek help—knocking on a neighbor’s door in the hope of being saved. It's a testament to her will to live and perhaps shows how much she loved life, just as her friends and family have described. I hope the investigation brings forth all the evidence needed, and justice is served for Jasmyne. Her story reminds us of the immense courage some people show in the face of unimaginable circumstances. My thoughts are with her brother Franklin and everyone else who knew and adored her. May they find some comfort in their memories of her vibrant spirit.
