Just saw the news about Christine and her husband, and I can't stop thinking about their neighbors and friends who must be reeling from this. I used to live in Hardeeville, and it's such a tight-knit community. I remember everyone looking out for each other, so I can only imagine how shaken everyone must be by what happened on McDowell Circle. I didn't know Christine personally, but I have a friend who does, and she said Christine was always so kind and full of life. It's hard to understand how things could have come to this point. My heart goes out to everyone touched by this tragedy. Does anyone know if there were any signs leading up to this? I know these situations can be incredibly complex and often hidden from public view. I hope if nothing else, this opens up conversations about domestic issues and getting support for those who need it. Sending love and strength to all affected <3
