I came across Nerissa Franklin's case recently, and something that's been bugging me is the lack of attention it seems to have received over the years. Sure, she was classified as a runaway, but it's been decades without any real leads. It's sad how cases involving young people in the foster care system don't always get the attention they deserve. Her scars and distinctive features should make recognizing her easier, yet still nothing. It makes me wonder how many people saw something back then and didn’t realize it. Maybe locals from the neighborhood have stories or rumors? Even small towns change over time, but sometimes memories linger. Would love to hear from anyone who remembers Gautier in the late '80s or maybe someone who knew Nerissa or her foster family. Even the tiniest piece of information might help.
