I’ve been following the events surrounding Janet Crouch's murder, and it's unsettling to think about the number of lives this senseless act has affected. One aspect that’s been on my mind is how this has impacted her colleagues at Vanity Salon. Janet wasn’t just someone who happened to work there; she brought an incredible energy and positivity to her job that must have been infectious. I can only imagine how hard it must be for everyone at the salon to cope with such a significant loss while trying to maintain some semblance of normalcy. The clients who knew her and experienced her passion for making them feel beautiful must be feeling her absence profoundly as well. I hope this tragedy serves as a reminder of how much we can positively impact the world just by being our authentic selves and treating others with kindness, like Janet did. My heart goes out to her family, the staff at Vanity Salon, and everyone whose lives Janet touched.
