Has anyone else been bothered by how little was done initially in the Millbrook twins' case? It strikes me as incredibly frustrating that their case was closed so early on based on what seems like a huge oversight. I mean, assuming they were found without concrete evidence? How does that even happen? It makes you wonder about the protocols for missing persons cases back then. I hope that with the case reopening and the increased exposure from documentaries and podcasts, there can be another push to reexamine any overlooked leads or evidence. It feels like there's got to be more to the story, and any small detail could make all the difference after so much time.
Jeannette and Dannette Millbrook's case has always baffled me. One detail that's been sticking out to me is their visit to the gas station right before they disappeared. It's odd how they were noted to have purchased snacks and everything seemed perfectly normal, yet they vanished shortly after. I keep wondering, could something have happened the moment they left the station, or perhaps did they meet someone they knew who offered them a ride? The area around there wasn't well-monitored in 1990, so it's possible there were no cameras to catch anything. It frustrates me that the initial investigation dropped the ball on such critical pieces of the timeline—imagine if they had thoroughly interviewed everyone who passed through that day or combed the surrounding area better. Overlooked details like these always leave me thinking about what could have been discovered early on. I'm really hoping that with the renewed attention from family and media, someone, maybe even someone who was there that day, will come forward with information that brings some clarity to this mystery.
Hey everyone, just wondered if anybody had any further details on that John Doe their family believes could be connected to Jeannette and Dannette's disappearance? I remember reading somewhere that police had considered this angle but never officially linked him to the case. The situation sounds suspicious, especially since the area had various criminal activities back in the '90s, and there were mentions of known predators in the vicinity.
It seems odd that there's so much media coverage, yet there's no follow-up on these possibly linked individuals. Does anyone have more info or know about any ongoing investigations involving these potential suspects? It's really bothering me that there isn't much discussion on these those who were in the area at the time. Any insights or leads would be much appreciated!
