I've been thinking a lot about the community's reaction to Brandon's death, especially since I've been following a lot of news from Pawtucket recently. It seems like everyone who knew him has nothing but good words and memories to share. What gets to me the most is the impact this must have on his two young sons. Growing up without their dad is going to be incredibly tough, and my heart goes out to them and to his girlfriend, Jennifer. They are all facing such a difficult journey ahead. It baffles me how someone could resort to such violence, reportedly even with a child right there. I'm relieved Brandon’s mother is still with us, but it must be traumatic for her, having experienced such a terrifying ordeal. I'm really hoping the community rallies around the family, offering the support they undoubtedly need during this challenging time. My thoughts are with them continuously.
