Reading about the murder of Tariq Duncan has me really concerned about the state of safety in the Roxborough neighborhood. It's alarming to think about the number of shots fired; over 30 casings were found at the scene. That kind of gunfire suggests a level of premeditation and determination that’s really chilling. It worries me that the Ridge Court Apartments lacked surveillance cameras—could this have been a deterrent? Or at least helped track the suspect who was seen fleeing the scene? I’m also troubled by the fact that no arrests have been made yet. The suspect’s description—bald, wearing a green hoodie, carrying a high-powered rifle—seems rather distinctive. You’d hope that someone might have more information or recognized him, despite the suspected target being Tariq. It must be incredibly frustrating and painful for Tariq's family and friends, knowing that the person responsible is still out there. I genuinely hope more people come forward with tips, and the reward encourages someone to speak up. My thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragedy, and I sincerely hope justice is served soon.
