Hey everyone, I just came across the case of Daryl Anton Stockert while scrolling through some old missing persons files, and something piqued my curiosity. Has anyone else noticed how the timeline of his disappearance seems a bit off? His associates say they dropped him at a convenience store at 9:00 p.m., but I've been thinking about how reliable are their statements? It's been over 30 years, and I'm wondering if there’s anyone who was around that area in Lakewood back in 1990 who might have seen something unusual. I read that the intersection of West 13th Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard was quite busy at the time, so maybe someone out there still remembers something? Every time I read about these unsolved disappearances, I can't help but think there's always one tiny detail that might have been missed back in the day. Would love to hear others' thoughts or if you've dug into this case before.
I've been following the Daryl Anton Stockert case for quite some time now, and something that's been bugging me is how solid the alibi of his business associates is. They claim they dropped him off at a convenience store, but has there ever been any confirmation from someone else who saw Daryl there that night? Any CCTV footage recovered? With it being 1990, I know the availability of surveillance cameras would have been limited compared to today, but I wonder if anyone might still remember seeing him. The area was probably not deserted at that time of night, right? I just think it's puzzling that there seems to be so little to go on after such a noticeable drop-off location. Thoughts, anyone?
I've been thinking a lot about the timeline of Daryl Stockert's disappearance and something about it doesn’t sit right with me. The associates' story about dropping him off at a convenience store after driving back from Wyoming is weirdly specific yet vague at the same time. If Daryl was supposed to meet someone or had plans after, wouldn’t there be some clue or someone who saw him around the store that night? It’s so strange that nobody else came forward who saw him there, not even the employees who might be working. Did anyone ever check the convenience store’s records or talk more with the staff? It bothers me how he just vanished into thin air right after being dropped off at such a public place.
