I keep thinking about the impact Omari's death has on the neighborhood, especially the younger folks who looked up to him. It's tragic to see such a promising life cut short, and it makes me wonder about those left behind and how they're coping. Omari seemed like someone who truly cared for his community and his family—a kind soul whose presence undoubtedly left a mark. It breaks my heart to know his sister and family have to endure this unimaginable loss. The fact that Teriq and Aaron are still out there is unsettling. It’s hard knowing justice hasn’t been served yet. I really hope they’re found soon and face the consequences of their actions. Meanwhile, maybe this will push for more community programs and involvement; we need places and activities to keep young adults engaged and safe. Harrisburg deserves better, and I hope more people come together to make sure these things don’t happen again. Sending strength to Omari’s family and everyone affected. Let’s continue spreading the word and supporting one another through these difficult times.
