I can't stop thinking about how unsettling it is that this happened in such a residential area. The Wilkes Neighborhood always felt like a safe community, and now everyone is on edge. I really feel for Mark's family during this awful time. It’s hard to imagine the pain and confusion they must be experiencing right now. The fact that there's no suspect or motive yet is just frustrating. It leaves so many of us wondering what truly happened that night. I hope that someone steps forward with information soon because the community needs closure, and more importantly, Mark's family deserves justice. Portland can be a tight-knit place, and I hope that bond helps bring the truth to light.

Wow, this case is really sticking with me, and my heart goes out to Mark Holley's loved ones. I find myself thinking a lot about the community impact when something like this happens. The Wilkes Neighborhood is known for being relatively quiet, so I can't even begin to imagine what the residents are going through right now. The sound of gunshots must have been terrifying and confusing for those living nearby. It's hard to feel safe in a place where something so sudden and violent can occur. I hope investigators are able to piece together some solid leads soon. You never know who might have seen something or heard something that could be crucial to solving this case. With the days getting shorter and evenings coming early, it might be tricky for witnesses to clearly recall what they saw. Please, if anyone in the area notices something—even if it seems insignificant—do reach out to the detectives working on this case.
