I can't stop thinking about the last moments of Imani Naim’s life and the trauma her nephew must have experienced. It’s so incredibly painful to imagine a child witnessing such violence. Imani’s role as a mother really resonates with me; it makes this tragedy even more difficult to comprehend. Her devotion to her children was apparent in every description from her family and friends. I can’t wrap my head around why anyone would commit such an awful act. The family needs closure, and justice must be served for her kids to find peace. Hoping that someone with information will find it in their heart to come forward. My thoughts are with her family in this unimaginably difficult time.
