I can't stop thinking about Deaza's recent school project on gun violence. It's just so tragic that she dedicated time to raise awareness about this very issue only for it to claim her own life. It's almost as if she foresaw the danger in her community and was trying to make a difference. Her commitment to creating change and her aspirations for the future showed how driven she was. It's devastating to see such a promising life cut short. This incident highlights the urgent need for effective measures to keep firearms away from minors and address the prevalence of illegal guns on our streets. My heart goes out to her family and friends during this unimaginably difficult time.
