Hey everyone, I came across something interesting regarding Arturo Almanza's case that I hadn't noticed before. I was digging through old newspaper archives (you know, the rabbit hole every true crime enthusiast eventually stumbles into), and I found a small piece mentioning missing persons from the Miami area in the early '90s, highlighting that many were young men who had traveled out of state for work before losing contact.
While it doesn't provide any jaw-dropping new evidence or anything, it does make me wonder if there's a connection or a pattern here that hasn't been thoroughly explored. There were a few interviews with other families in similar situations, and some even formed a small support group that met a few times over the years. I wonder if there might be more to Olson's trip to Chicago that we haven't uncovered yet. Maybe there’s a link to his work assignment or someone he met there.
Just raising this because sometimes these little details might open a door to something bigger. Thoughts?
Hey everyone, I came across Arturo Almanza's case from Miami, and I can't stop thinking about the wider implications here. It's mind-boggling how many unsolved cases there are from the 80s and 90s just sitting in the files, and Arturo’s story is one of them.
What's intriguing is the connection to Chicago. Given he was reportedly there for a work stint, could there be some overlooked ties or leads in Chicago that weren't fully explored back then? It makes you wonder if there are people or places there that know something or might even hold a piece of the puzzle.
The Miami-Dade and other agencies have tried, but the silence is deafening. Just reminds me that sometimes cases fall through the cracks, and I wonder if fresh eyes or modern techniques could help. For anyone close to Miami or Chicago during that time, even the smallest detail from your memory could be vital. Keeping fingers crossed for any break in this case.
