It's chilling to think how vulnerable the homeless community in Las Vegas was during those months. I've been following the case and am struck by how the city came together to improve safety measures for people living on the streets after these tragic events. The deaths of David Dunn and Daniel Aldape lit a fire under a lot of initiatives, which hopefully brings some comfort knowing their lives sparked a needed change. It’s a tough reminder of the dangers faced by our most vulnerable citizens every day. My thoughts are with their families and friends; may they find peace and strength.
