Hi everyone,
I've been following the investigation into the tragic death of Brandon J. Sotelo, and something that's been on my mind is the location where this happened. I've read that the 8100 block of Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard isn't usually considered a high-crime area, which makes this incident even more unsettling for the local community. Can anyone familiar with this neighborhood shed some light on whether there's been any noticeable increase in activity or changes recently?
It's deeply worrying to think that a seemingly safe place can become the scene of such a terrible event. I hope someone comes forward with information soon—the community deserves answers, and Brandon's family deserves justice. This whole case is just so incredibly sad. ?
Let’s keep Brandon and his loved ones in our thoughts.
Stay safe, everyone.
I was thinking about how tragic it is that Brandon J. Sotelo lost his life, and I keep coming back to the community aspect of this case. Living in Portland myself, it's really concerning to see an increase in violent crimes like this. The Piedmont neighborhood used to feel so safe, and it's worrying that this isn't the first incident we've seen recently.
Y'all, I truly believe that it takes a village. We have to look out for each other and speak up if we know anything that might help Brandon's family get some answers. It breaks my heart to think of his loved ones waiting for justice, and I can only imagine how tough this must be for them.
Let's do what we can to support them by staying vigilant and sharing any info with the authorities, no matter how insignificant it might seem. We have to be part of the solution and help make our neighborhoods safe again. My thoughts are with Brandon's friends and family during this unimaginably difficult time.
