I was reading through some articles and just couldn't stop thinking about the family gatherings Marwan must've cherished. Being in a tight-knit community, those moments with family during special times like Eid must've meant a lot to him, especially since he had just recently made that trip back to Buffalo. During these celebrations, family always seems to share stories, laughter, and support that transcends the challenges they face. It’s devastating that his family had to experience such a tragedy during what should’ve been a joyful time. I hope they find some comfort in the beautiful memories they shared with him, and I truly hope justice is served for Marwan and his family. It's incredibly difficult to comprehend how violence continues to interrupt communities striving to find peace in a new environment. Sending thoughts to everyone affected by this.
