Does anyone else find the details about the timing really eerie? I can't stop thinking about how Jessica's mom heard the gunshot from her own home. I can't imagine the pain and shock that must have caused her. It feels like such a chilling reminder of how close to home violence can be. It's so distressing to think that this unfolded while she was likely trying to wind down for the night after what was probably a long day of teaching. It seems like there’s a strong sense of community support with the vigil, which is touching. I hope that the community’s love provides some comfort to Jessica’s family during this unimaginable time.
