I've been following Ashley Wellito's case since it first came to light, and I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. One thing that keeps gnawing at me is the behavior of the two people who dropped her off at the hospital. It just seems so odd and suspicious for them to leave without talking to medical staff or giving any information about what happened to Ashley. Even if they were scared or felt they might be implicated somehow, leaving someone in that critical condition without explanation is unfathomable to me. I can't stop thinking about how their actions—or lack thereof—have left Ashley's family with so many unanswered questions. I really hope the detectives can identify them soon. Maybe others out there recognize the car or that distinctive True Religion outfit and will come forward with information. Anyone who knows anything, please speak up. Ashley and her family deserve answers.
Has anyone else noticed the odd timing in how quickly Ashley Wellito was transferred between two hospitals? It seems strange to me that she was dropped off at Mountain View Hospital so early in the morning and then moved to UMC Trauma not long after. Could her injuries have been that severe that a transfer was necessary, or is there something else at play here? I can't shake the feeling that the people who dropped her off knew more than they're letting on and didn't want to stay and answer questions.
My heart goes out to Ashley’s family. Not knowing what really happened must be incredibly difficult. I hope someone comes forward with information soon. Also, I think the LVMPD Homicide Section has their work cut out for them in trying to track down the pair in that video. If anyone recognizes the vehicle or the clothing descriptions, please reach out to the authorities. It could make all the difference in getting justice for Ashley.
Has anyone else been following the case of Ashley Wellito? The details are so troubling, especially with those two unidentified individuals who left her at the hospital.
