Hey everyone, I've been digging into the Jason William Dies case lately, and there's something that's been nagging at me. Has anyone else found it odd how the packages Jason sent to his family were postmarked from a naval station in Pensacola? That's quite a distance from San Diego, where he was last seen. I'm wondering if there's any possibility he made it to Pensacola before vanishing. It just seems strange that he'd go through the trouble of sending packages from Florida if he had plans to report there by July 18 anyway. Maybe someone at the Pensacola naval station saw or interacted with him and just didn't realize the significance at the time? Maybe he had friends or allies in the area that could shed some light on his movements. It would be interesting to know if any local investigations were conducted around that area back then. Also, for those more familiar with the Navy, how common was it for servicemen to transfer themselves like that back in 1991? Could it have been an intentional stop for some reason other than his family visit? Jason’s family is incredible for staying so hopeful and respecting his wish to keep those packages unopened for all those years. It's heartbreaking to see a family with so many unanswered questions after all this time. Together, maybe we can piece things together. Thoughts?

I've been thinking a lot about those unopened packages Jason sent to his family. It's so intriguing that he asked them not to open them and they respected his wishes for so long. Why send them all the way from Pensacola if he wasn't planning on seeing them soon? The fact they contained gifts makes me wonder if he was trying to tie up some loose ends or maybe even preparing for a big change in his life. It's such an interesting detail that could point to his state of mind right before he vanished. I keep wondering if the packages provide some hidden clue or insight that everyone overlooked. What do you all think?
