Hey everyone, I was just reading up on the Matthew Franklin case, and I can't shake this uneasy feeling. It’s really unsettling to think about how something like this could happen right in our own neighborhoods. I was particularly struck by the eyewitness account from Dean Estrada; those words, “get back here, get back here,” give me chills. I can't imagine the fear Matthew must've felt in those final moments. Bushwick isn't just some anonymous spot on the map—it's where friends and families live, where kids go to school, where we’re supposed to feel safe. It's tough knowing there's someone out there who could do something so terrible and still be on the loose. I truly hope the NYPD is able to make progress soon. If anyone knows anything, no matter how small it might seem, I hope they find it in them to speak up. Every detail could be crucial to finding out what really happened. Sending thoughts to Matthew’s family and friends as they navigate through this incredibly tough time. No one should have to go through a loss like this.
