Has anyone been following the updates on the Jon Ernest Gomez case? I've been thinking about how challenging it must have been for the workers who discovered the body. Imagine just going about your day at work and then stumbling upon something so horrific. I can’t even begin to fathom what that experience might do to someone mentally or emotionally. And for Jon's family, the way he was found must add an extra layer of grief and distress to an already awful situation. I hope they’re receiving the support they need. It's such a cruel reminder of how violence leaves ripples affecting not just the immediate victims but a whole community of people. Does anyone know what measures are being taken to handle such trauma for those indirectly impacted by violent crimes like this? Would love to hear your thoughts.

Hey everyone, Just been diving into more details about the Jon Ernest Gomez case, and I came across something that's really been bothering me. Did anyone else notice the significant time gap between Jon's murder in late November 2016 and the discovery of his body in May 2017? It's chilling to think how long his body was out there without anyone knowing. Makes me wonder about what might have happened during those months. Was Edward Bedrusian living his life as if nothing had happened? I'd imagine this prolonged unanswered period must have been incredibly tough for Jon’s family and friends. I'm also a bit curious about the workers who found him... such a horrific thing to stumble upon. I can’t imagine how traumatic that must have been even for the people just doing their jobs that day. Sending thoughts to everyone affected by this tragedy. If anyone has more info on how they realized the tarp was there in the first place, would love to hear more insights. Or, what prompted the decision to start investigating Nelson's Landing specifically?
