I can't help but think about the impact something like this has on a community. Karterius was so young, just 18, with his whole life ahead of him. His family and friends must be going through an unimaginable ordeal right now, and I truly feel for them. It’s hard to wrap my mind around the fact that someone as young as Adrian, only 16, could be involved in such a tragedy. I wonder what led to this point in both of their lives. It brings up so many questions about the kind of support systems in place for at-risk youth and how this might have been prevented. This case leaves a lot of pain in its wake and really makes you reflect on the kind of world we're living in. My thoughts are with everyone affected by this senseless act.
