It's devastating to hear about the situation involving Jonathan Brookin's kids. Knowing they were in the house when everything happened is just unimaginable. I can't even begin to process what they must have gone through, hiding under the bed while all this chaos unfolded. It's a relief to know they weren't physically harmed, but emotionally, this kind of trauma can be really hard to overcome. My heart goes out to them and the rest of his family. I hope they are getting the support and counseling they need to start healing. It's important for the community to come together right now and support those children—they are the true innocents in all of this.
