I keep thinking about Lance's passion for making friends and how it's always the genuinely kind-hearted ones who seem to inspire the most love and loyalty. It's truly tragic that someone with such a zest for life could be taken away in such a senseless act. I wonder if the community could come together to organize something in his memory, maybe a vigil or a gathering that reflects how Lance lived—full of energy and bringing people together. It might not bring him back, but maybe it would offer some comfort to his family and friends, knowing how cherished he was by everyone who knew him. My heart goes out to all affected by this terrible loss.
