I’ve been reading up on the awful case of Shentell Brown, and it’s genuinely crushing to think about those two kids in the backseat during this horrific incident. I can't imagine the shock and terror they must have felt witnessing something so unimaginable. It makes me wonder about the long-term emotional impact on children who witness domestic violence. It seems like there needs to be more resources and support for kids who go through these traumatic experiences. Has anyone seen any initiatives in the Lafayette area focusing on this? Sending strength and love to Shentell's family and those kids as they work through this tragedy.

Has anyone else been thinking about the role of those poor kids in this awful situation? It's just so chilling to imagine what they must have gone through in those few moments. I mean, one child had the presence of mind to flag down help while the other got hurt in the confusion—it's just so terrible. It makes you wonder what they might have witnessed, and how that's going to affect them moving forward. I really hope they’re surrounded by family who can provide them with all the love and support they'll need to cope with this nightmare. I just can't stop thinking about their bravery and trauma. Hopefully, with time and care, they'll find some peace. If anyone has ideas on charities or organizations that do good work for kids in situations like this, maybe we can rally around them and help however we can. My heart goes out to the entire family.
