I've been reading up on Michaelle Marie Champagne's case, and something that's been bugging me is why there seems to be so little information about her connections or friends outside of her relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Darryl Matlen. If she was living in Spokane and working different jobs, surely she must have had friends or colleagues who might have noticed her absence or knew about her plans after returning from Belgium? Has there ever been any mention of friends stepping forward with information, or could it be that people weren't aware she was missing for such a long time? Makes me wonder if there are aspects of her social life that haven’t been fully explored. Thoughts?
