Has anyone else been following the updates on the Mardi Gras shooting investigation? It’s chilling to think of what the families are going through, especially Bryson Green's. Learning about Bryson giving away his jacket to a friend in need really stuck with me. It says a lot about his character and how much he cared about others. It's absolutely disheartening that such a vibrant young life was cut short. I've read that his family has asked people not to share videos of the tragic events. It makes sense that they want his memory focused on the kindness and joy he brought to those around him, rather than the violent way he left this world. I really hope justice is served, and that everyone impacted can find some kind of solace. My thoughts are with all of the victims and their families. Does anyone know if there are any community efforts to support the families or memorials being planned in his honor?

I’ve been following the discussion about the tragic Mardi Gras shooting for a while, and I'm deeply moved by how Bryson Green is being remembered by everyone who knew him. There's a story about him that really stands out to me—his dad shared how Bryson once gave away a brand-new white Nike jacket to a friend who needed it. This simple act shows the kind of person he was, so compassionate and generous, even at such a young age. It's so important for us, especially those of us outside the immediate circle of friends and family, to focus on the positive memories and the impact he made while he was here. I can only imagine the difficult journey his family is going through right now, especially with the spotlight that such tragedies often bring. They asked that people respect their wishes not to share any videos from that day, and I hope everyone can respect that. Bryson’s spirit should be celebrated for the warmth and kindness he spread, not for the tragic way his life ended. My thoughts go out to his family and everyone else impacted by this horrific event.
