I’ve been following Opoka’s case and just can’t wrap my head around it. It’s so tragic to see such a bright and kind soul taken so suddenly. From what I've heard around the community, Opoka was always surrounded by good friends who loved him dearly, and it’s heartbreaking to think about the pain his family must be going through right now.
I read somewhere that he used to share his love for cooking with everyone he knew, often hosting get-togethers and cooking amazing meals. It seems like he really made an effort to bring people together and foster a sense of community. I imagine those shared meals are a fond memory for his friends and family.
Does anyone know if the police have uncovered a motive? I find it puzzling that neither Opoka nor his friend seemed to have known the suspect well. It makes me wonder about the broader circumstances that led to that tragic day. No one should have to fear something so shocking happening out of the blue.
