Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the news about Jarvis Cook’s case, and one thing that really stands out to me is the role of community security. It's harrowing to think that something like this can happen in a place where people should feel safe. From what I’ve read, there seems to be a lot of questions about whether the apartment complex had any security measures in place or if they were sufficient.
I can’t help but wonder if there were any cameras around or if security personnel were on duty that night. It seems like the presence or absence of such measures could make a huge difference not only in solving cases but, more importantly, in preventing tragedies like this from happening at all.
Does anyone here have insights on security protocols at residential complexes like these? It’s frustrating to think that Jarvis's family might be struggling with the fact that this might have been preventable. My thoughts are with them during this tough time. If anyone has info or ideas on how communities can come together to demand better security, I’d love to hear them.
Stay safe, everyone.
