I've been reading about the tragic incident in Tangipahoa, and my heart goes out to everyone involved. I'm especially concerned about the aftermath for the 16-year-old who survived. Being injured in such a traumatic event and then losing two friends must be incredibly tough for them. I truly hope they have access to all the psychological and emotional support they might need. It’s so important for us as a community to rally around this young person and not just focus on the sensational aspects of the case. Healing and recovery take time and support, and we need to make sure they know they’re not alone. Also, it’s a stark reminder of how carrying weapons can escalate situations in unpredictable and devastating ways. Let's all push for better conflict resolution methods and support systems for our younger generation.
