I can't stop thinking about the impact this tragedy must be having on Willie's family and friends. I read that his funeral service was held at Estelle J. Wilson Funeral Home, which seems to be a community staple in New Orleans. With so many of Willie's family members and friends there to say their goodbyes, I can only imagine how difficult it must have been for everyone involved. I hope they're finding some support and comfort in each other during this unimaginable time. It's these close-knit community gatherings that show just how loved and cherished Willie was. Let's keep his family in our thoughts and continue pressing for changes that prevent more families from experiencing such loss.
Does anyone have more information about the female victim who was injured during the shooting of Willie Jackson Jr. on Moss Street?
