It just horrifies me to think of the two little children who were in the house during this terrible incident. I can't imagine the fear and trauma they must have experienced, witnessing or even just hearing such violence. My heart goes out to them and to the families of both Lillian Brown and Sabrina McCain. I hope those kids have a strong support system around them now to help them process this tragedy. It's a stark reminder of how domestic issues or conflicts can spill over and have devastating impacts on those least able to defend themselves. I pray that both children are receiving the counseling and protection they need, and that their innocence isn't further shattered by this ordeal. They have already endured so much. If anyone knows of resources or ways to support kids who've experienced similar situations, I think we should share that info to bolster community support, not just for these children but for others like them.
