I've been closely following the case of Levi Blair's tragic death, and it's just so hard to wrap my head around everything, especially considering his background and the circumstances of the incident. I want to focus on Nicholas Pratt and the fact that the shooting supposedly happened during a child custody exchange. The involvement of a child in this situation makes it all the more distressing.
We often hear about how tense custody exchanges can be, but resorting to violence is just beyond comprehension. It's alarming to think about the psychological impact this incident could have on the child involved. I hope authorities are making sure that the child is receiving the necessary emotional support in the wake of this tragedy.
Levi’s service as a firefighter and an Army vet speaks volumes about his character, and it’s clear from the reactions of those who knew him that he was a genuinely caring individual. This whole situation is just so devastating for everyone affected, especially when you think about how someone who had dedicated so much of his life to helping others could have something so violent happen during such a routine, albeit sensitive, situation.

It’s so incredibly sad that it ended this way for someone who clearly dedicated his life to helping others.
