I really feel for Cawaskee Ardoin's little girl, Kaleah. She's so young, and trying to make sense of such a loss must be incredibly confusing and painful for her. I can't even imagine how hard this is on Dutchess, having to find the words to explain such a tragedy to their daughter. My heart goes out to their family. It's tragic to see Dutchess experiencing another loss due to gun violence, especially after losing her brother just last year. It’s vital for communities to unite and actively put an end to these senseless acts. I hope that the conversation this heartbreaking event has started can bring about some real change. Focusing on the investigation, does anyone have any insights into whether there was a known connection between Ardoin and Sims? I’m curious if this was a random act or something more personal. Keeping an eye on any further developments from the Ville Platte Police—it’s important for Kaleah and all of Ardoin's loved ones that justice is served.
