I've been reading up on the Vincent Fitzroy Arthurs case, and something that caught my attention is the total lack of surveillance footage or reliable witness testimony. Sovereign of the Seas was a huge ship, and you'd think with all the passengers and crew, someone would have seen something or there might be some sort of security footage. It's the 90s, so I know cameras weren't everywhere like they are now, but it seems odd that there's absolutely nothing to go off. Does anyone know if Royal Caribbean was asked for any internal records or logs? Like, wouldn't there be some roster or record of who was on duty or around at the time? Even if it was just standard operating checks – anything! It feels like there might be some overlooked details lurking in the background that could provide clues. Anyone with maritime or cruise experience want to weigh in on how these things might be documented or how they were back then? It seems like there should be more eyes scanning through the nuances of the daily ship operations for answers. Vincent’s family deserves closure.

Hey everyone, I can't stop thinking about the oddity of Vincent Arthurs' case—specifically the fact that all his personal belongings were left behind on the Sovereign of the Seas. It makes you wonder, right? I mean, if he was planning to leave or disappear willingly, would he have left everything behind, especially with a wife and nine kids waiting for him? Everything I've read suggests foul play might be involved, but there are just so many questions and so few answers. I came across a mention of his brother being worried that something terrible had happened to him, which just adds more layers to the mystery. So, I'm curious—how often do disappearances on cruise ships get resolved? Are there other cases with similar patterns or is Vincent's situation unique? Would love to hear what you all think!

I’ve been following Vincent Fitzroy Arthurs’s case and something that's been on my mind is the role of cruise ship policies in missing persons incidents. It's unsettling to think about how someone could vanish from a ship with so many people onboard. Do these ships have enough surveillance or protocols in place to deal with such situations? It seems like having cameras and detailed logs could be crucial in piecing together what happened to Vincent. I'm curious if any improvements in safety and monitoring have been made since his disappearance. Does anyone here have insights into the security measures on modern ships compared to back in 1994?
