Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about Fonta Dupree Whitlock’s unsolved case from back in 2007. It's so difficult to comprehend how 16 years have gone by and his family still doesn’t have answers. I came across Hank's Bar on Ames Avenue, where Fonta was found, and I can’t help but wonder about the night he was killed. It seems like such a busy neighborhood, there must have been people around, even at that time. I’m curious if anyone else has thought about the potential for witnesses who might have seen or heard something but have stayed quiet for whatever reason. I know it might be a long shot, but maybe someone out there will read this and reconsider their silence. It’s painful to think that a piece of information, no matter how small, could be the key to bringing closure to his loved ones who’ve been waiting all these years. Hoping against hope that justice will be served for Fonta and that his family can start to heal. Anyone else have any local insights or thoughts? Stay Safe, [Username]
