Did anyone else see that small detail about the McDonald's employee who witnessed the disturbance? I can't imagine how traumatic that must have been for them and what they must be going through right now. Just an ordinary day on the job and then to witness something so devastating. It's easy to forget how these ripple effects touch so many lives beyond just the immediate families. My heart goes out to everyone who has been affected by this tragedy, including those who were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Let's be kind and remember that there are often silent witnesses in these situations who carry the weight of what they've seen. If you're local, maybe check in on people you know, you never know who might need some support right now.
