I've been following the case of Kody Tyler Johnston, and there's something that really got to me about how easily these car theft operations seem to operate right under our noses. I can't help but think about how terrifying it must have been for Kody in those last moments, just trying to help out a friend. It's chilling to realize how dangerous it can be when criminal networks like Juan Montiel's are involved. Montiel's operation was sophisticated enough to include body armor and law enforcement impersonation tools. This suggests a terrifying level of organization, and it makes me wonder how many more people might be affected by these kinds of crimes if they go unchecked. My heart truly goes out to Kody’s family and friends navigating this painful journey. I hope this case will at least lead to more awareness and stricter measures to prevent such incidents in the future. Stay safe out there, everyone.

Wow, I just read about how Kody was trying to do something heroic by helping his friend get her stolen car back, only to end up losing his life in such a tragic way. I can't even begin to imagine what his family and friends are going through. I also read that Montiel was part of a bigger operation and had all this stuff to impersonate the police? It's so scary to think about all the stolen vehicles and weapons found. Seems like it was so much more than just a random crime. I hope Kody’s family finds justice, and there’s some comfort in knowing that this guy is behind bars. It’s amazing how Kody's community has come together to remember him and support his loved ones. Thoughts are definitely with them during this unbelievably difficult time.
