I've been following Elijah "Coleone" Jackson's case closely and something that continues to haunt me is the lack of surveillance footage. In today's world, with cameras seemingly on every street corner and business, it's hard to fathom how there's no footage that could offer any clues or leads. I keep wondering if there was any possibility of obtaining video evidence from nearby businesses or traffic cameras around 62nd and Ames Avenue back in 2008. It's puzzling and frustrating to think about how such a key piece of evidence could be missing or overlooked. My heart really goes out to Elijah's family, especially his children who have grown up without their father. If anyone has updates or knows anything about the area around that time, it could be helpful to share. Let's hope someday soon there's a breakthrough in this case.
I've been following Elijah Jackson's case, and it truly haunts me how someone could be taken so senselessly and yet still no answers have surfaced. What stands out to me is how the community has remained relatively silent over the years. It's perplexing that the area of 62nd and Ames Avenue, which isn't exactly a deserted spot, yielded no significant witnesses or leads. Elijah was well-loved and well-known, another innocent life cut short—yet where are the neighbors, the passersby, the public who've possibly seen something, anything? The silence is deafening.
I can't help but think of Elijah's family, especially his young son and the child who never got to meet their father. It's incredibly frustrating that they're left clinging to memories, awaiting justice that seems so elusive. If anyone still holds pieces of information about that fateful day, even the smallest detail could be crucial. More than a decade later, Elijah's family deserves to see some form of justice served. Let's keep talking about him, sharing his story, and spread awareness to stir any detail that can help bring some closure.
