I just read about Jamaal Vaughan's tragic death, and I can't stop thinking about the role that community engagement plays in solving these cases. It's critical for residents to feel safe enough to come forward with any information they might have, even if it seems insignificant. What can we do to foster a sense of trust between communities and law enforcement to ensure that people feel comfortable sharing what they know? It's frustrating to see another young life lost to senseless violence, and we need to work towards preventing similar incidents. I’ve been following the case of Jamaal Vaughan, and something that's really been on my mind is the impact this tragedy must be having on his family and friends. It's unimaginable to think about what they’re going through right now. Jamaal was so young, with so much life ahead of him, and now his family is left to cope with this terrible loss.
