Has anyone heard any updates on the motive behind Kenneth Collier Jr.'s murder? It’s been incredibly hard to process how someone so dedicated to ending gun violence could be lost in such a way. I can't help but wonder if there was any connection between Kenneth and Onri Crawford. The fact that Kenneth dedicated his life to this cause after losing his mother makes it even more profound. It’s haunting how someone whose life was marked by advocacy against such violence could end up as another statistic. My thoughts are with his family and friends during this incredibly trying time. It's just so unfair. If anyone hears anything new, please share.
I can't stop thinking about how someone mourned through arduous times, like Kenneth, could put so much energy and hope into advocating against gun violence, only to have his life ended by it. It's incredibly difficult to comprehend the irony and injustice of it all. Friends and community members speak of him with so much love and admiration, and it's easy to understand why. His mentor Keith Lewis paints a vivid picture of a young man who, despite his own personal loss, was dedicated to creating change and bringing smiles to those around him. It's such a cruel twist that someone who fought so hard against gun violence became a victim of it. My thoughts and prayers are with Kenneth's family and friends—may his mission continue to inspire and impact others even as they grieve his loss.
